I love summertime. We've been a little lazy. We've played with friends, gone for drinks at Sonic, gone swimming, watched movies, read books, and grilled our dinners. Here's a bit of our summer so far.
Watermelon is summer in a bowl.
Laundry dried outside smells like sunshine and fresh air.
Playing Cootie and Break the Ice with my girls.
First fruits from my garden. Radishes are in every salad.
Renewed our interest in kite flying.
Nate makes super yummy waffles on Sunday mornings. These were pumpkin.
Eating breakfast on the patio in the nice summer morning.
Sent Isaac off to Scout camp a couple days ago. He said he would miss me (awww!) Toby went to high adventure in Missouri last week.
We finally got around to cleaning out the garage. (We could barely walk through before). Lots of nice new shelves got things organized.

I love the idea of eating breakfast on a porch or patio - our patio is lovely in the mornings but it's such a trek to the back of the house - doesn't seem quite so luxuriant!!
