Day 13: Christmas Movies

I love watching movies.  That's not news.  At Christmas it is fun to watch the classics and new ones and some not so traditional movies from my childhood that the kids might enjoy now too. So here is a list of some of the movies we have watched/plan to watch this season (not in any particular order, just as I remember them).

  1. The Polar Express
  2. Prep & Landing 2
  3. The Santa Clause
  4. The Santa Clause 3
  5. Home Alone
  6. Frosty the Snowman
  7. The night Before Christmas
  8. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
  9. Elf
  10. The Grinch
  11. Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Special
  12. Charlie Brown Christmas
  13. Miracle on 34th Street
  14. It's a Wonderful Life
  15. A Christmas Story
  16. Christmas Vacation

You must add Joyeux Noel!! The story of the WW I Christmas Eve truce - the sound track alone is worth the time!! And the history of this whole event - actually many events - is fascinating - but ultimately disturbing if you probe deeply enough.

"Elf on the Shelf." It was on TV. It was the cutest show. Katanya watches it several times a week. Shrek the Halls is also cute.
