Day 14:It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas

There is a house in our neighborhood that does a pretty good choreographed light show at their house.  So the other night we loaded up and went to check it out.  It was pretty good.  We could tune our car radio to the recommended station to hear the music, then we turned off the truck lights to watch the show.  I think we were parked in front for more than 10 minutes and it never repeated.  The owners included a KU Jayhawk tribute at the end.  They even walked out to the cars and handed out candy canes.  I was really impressed.  There was a box out front for donations.  They are giving all proceeds to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.  You can check out the show HERE.

We never had lights growing up - at least when I was growing up - thought it would be the height of success to live in a lighted house. We pretty much never put up lights - not sure why. It's pretty nice to do it - seems to be kind of a friendly, neighborly kind of thing to do.
