So I came back. When I arrived, the line was only about 15 people long. BUt within minutes, the line went out into the lobby and all the way to the back door. Crazy!

But I got to the front in only about 15 minutes. My packages to Axel in Japan, and Hester in Switzerland, and family in Utah got mailed. I got 4 of the last 8 remaining books of stamps for my letters and I could check the post office off my to do list.

And I have managed to get most of my cards mailed. Usually I fail at the CHristmas cards by Christmas part. And I think I still have a bunch of unmailed, but addressed and stamped, CHristmas cards from previous years somewhere in a pile of stuff. Would it be strange to mail them now? Maybe I will do it when I find them again:)

Every year I have a pile of stamped Christmas cards that didn't get mailed. I struggle through them during January and February - one year I went to July - but this year I'm not going to stamp them first - I have all these stamped, addressed old cards - they are 3 years old - it would be strange to mail them!!
I never do the lines - I use the machine. But if you have international mail, you have to do the lines.
I'm totally blog stalking you, Betsy! I hope that's okay!
Lawrence has a second post office across the street from Home Depot (behind TJMaxx/World Market) and then you can also mail from the grocery stores...I'm sure you've already discovered this, but I thought I'd share!
Love reading your blog and getting to 'know' you a bit more.
